Khatu Shyam, considered an incarnation of Lord Krishna, is a revered deity known for his immense devotion and sacrifice. According to legend, Khatu Shyam was born as Barbarika, the grandson of Bhima from the Mahabharata. Endowed with extraordinary powers and divine knowledge, Barbarika vowed to support the weaker side in any battle. Before the great Kurukshetra war, Lord Krishna, in disguise, tested Barbarika’s resolve and ultimately blessed him, transforming him into Khatu Shyam.
